Inside the Archive – My Child Drawings

My parents saved my child drawings for something like 30 years. Hidden away in their secret historical archive they will now be revealed for the first time – ever. For your viewing pleasure. Normally your drawings as a child are crap, but I think it is a bit of fun to see what I did as a child. It is the prime source! First artistic malpractice…

And it is quite fun to watch, really… The archive follows my drawing skills from age 16 md. to about 11 years. Enyoy, or just skip it…

The themes of my child drawings are war, spaceships, dragons, He-man-stuff, Evil-capitalist-machines, pop culture, the world of toys and maybe jesus… I think thats the themes – I really can’t remember drawing them.

It is fun to see the difference in my child drawings. There are always a specific point in a common childhood, where we either stop drawing or we learn how to draw properly (naturalistic or artistically). I never learned to draw.
